TELL ME MORE
In this workshop you will make your own customized fabric advent calendar, with pockets for you to add your own chocolate or gifts. All materials are supplied and all the pieces will be pre-cut, so you can get on with the fun job of sewing and customizing. You will be gluing on the numbers to the pockets of your choice, and then sewing them on to the background panel, before finishing the edges and adding a wooden dowel and natural twine to finish it off. You could also customize it by adding your name, or some other decorative spruces to make it truly unique. This calendar would also make a lovely gift for a loved one or for the whole family.

WHO IS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR?
This class is a complete beginner level. Even if you have zero experience of using a sewing machine, you are welcome to come along.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Helen is a pattern cutter who has worked in the fashion industry in London for 10 years. She has cut patterns for several high-end designer brands, including Victoria Beckham, Mary Katrantzou and Karen Millen. She loves sharing the knowledge she has gained over the years with others, to help them on their sewing journey. Whether they are taking their first steps into the fashion industry, or improving their home sewing techniques.
