Cancellations Policy: GROUP CLASSES


Here at Dot n Cross we are passionate about creating a learning atmosphere that ensures everyone gets the most out of their time with us. This is why we keep our class sizes small, we have a maximum of 6 students for sewing classes and 4 students for pattern cutting classes. However, because of this, if someone drops out without much notice, it jeopardises the class going ahead for the rest of our customers. This is why we have the following policy.

If you find yourself unable to attend your booking and it’s more than 30 days in advance of the start of your workshop(s), we can offer a refund minus 25% for administrative fees or you can transfer to a future workshop free of charge.

If cancellation is within 30 days of the start of your workshop(s) I’m afraid we are unable to offer a refund. You can always send some lucky friend in your place though - just let us know of the name change and sizing info.

Some of our workshops take place over several sessions. If you miss a session unfortunately we can not offer a make up session. If you require further tuition to complete your project, please speak to us about booking a private class and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Our classes are subject to a minimum of 2 bookings. In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel a class, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable class/date. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
