The aim of the course is to come away with a well fitted dress block and sleeve block. Having your own block is so useful and essential for making new patterns at home. Please note, we will not be drafting the block from scratch, we will be amending a block to fit you.
The second half of the course will be learning some basic pattern cutting techniques so that you can adapt your block. This includes pivoting darts, adding seams, altering necklines and basic skirt variations. Armed with this knowledge you can make many different designs at home.
